Leaders in Diagnostics (LiD) 2018 is now open for registration and this year NPEx is a sponsor. This annual event is in its third year of success and provides the exclusive opportunity for diagnostic leaders in the UK to attend talks, workshops, collaborate and network. In the space of one day, trailblazers from fields including pathology, point of care testing and digitalised diagnostics are offered the chance to be a part of what LiD describe as ‘the club for diagnostics leaders’. Alongside NPEx there are high-profile leading health and tech providers like Siemens Healthineers, Abbott, Philips, Telemedicine Clinic, Alliance Medical and UKAS sponsoring the event.
The event is free for qualifying NHS diagnostic managers and diagnostic consultants where they will join 450 other leading delegates and 150 commercial representatives. Pioneering professionals, including Pathology, Cellular, Histopathology and Point of Care Testing (PoCT) Managers and Leads are offered the opportunity to hear the forefront discussion on delivering value in diagnostic services. With the option to choose from seven ‘conference tracks’, the event accommodates NPEx users working in laboratory diagnostics, digital pathology, the digitalisation of diagnostics and PoCT. LiD 2018 is the ideal opening for our users to meet and discuss with other leaders in their field on how they can be achieving improved patient outcomes and experiences, efficiency, and diagnosis all while raising the profile of diagnostics.
LiD 2018 will take place on Wednesday 7th November at IET Savoy Place on London’s Embankment. Alongside the day’s agenda and programme overview, a detailed programme of the conferences 60 speakers and their talk topics will be published on their website in the autumn. Delegates will also benefit from being able plan their day and access information on the event’s bespoke app. There has been an increased interest and faster rate of registrations that last year; you can apply for a place online and join the 170 delegates who have already secured their attendance.
