The Yorkshire and the Humber Academic Health Science Network (YH AHSN) kindly hosted the very
first NETIMIS Roadshow at their offices in Wakefield on 16th April. X-Lab have been running "Roadshow" events for the NPEx system in
collaboration with NHS and lab system partners for well over a year with exciting venues such as the National Motorcycle Museum and Tower
Bridge (on the top floor with views across London). The NETIMIS system developed by X-Lab is an online tool for modelling and simulating
care pathways and can be used for economic evaluation of planned interventions such as a new diagnostic test. NETIMIS is very novel and
we wanted to understand how we might design the best Roadshow format to present NETIMIS so our very first NETIMIS event was styled
"Roadshow Zero" - an experiment to discuss with health service professionals with an interest in transforming care. Over 20 health
service professionals attended the event. Feedback was unanimously positive, with comments saying that it was ‘powerful visualisation
tool for the future’ and an ‘opportunity to model existing pathways and help identify non-value added/inefficient steps’.
We thank the Yorkshire & Humber AHSN for its support.
